3. What we collect
We collect information in three ways. You give it to us, we record it as you learn, and your browser sends it automatically.
Account details
Your name, email address, username, and password. Passwords are stored in scrambled form, and we cannot read them.
Phone number
Optional. If you give us a phone number, for example to get course updates on WhatsApp, we use it only to send you those updates.
Enrollment and payment
The course you choose, your order number, your payment plan, and your billing details. You type your card number into a secure form run by Stripe, our payment processor. It never reaches our servers.
Learning activity
The lessons you complete, your progress, your quiz and assignment responses, and your certificates of completion.
Private lesson notes
Notes you type beside a lesson video are saved to your account. They are not shown to other students.
Student forum posts
Anything you post in the student forum can be read by other enrolled students and by us. Please do not post anything you want to keep private.
Forms and messages
What you send us through our forms or by email, including questions, refund requests, and support requests.
Scholarship applications
The personal and financial details you choose to share. We use them only to review your application, prayerfully and fairly.
Quizzes and sign-ups

Team and affiliate accounts

Live Q&A sessions
We email the Zoom link to enrolled students. When you join, Zoom collects its own information under its own privacy policy.
Technical data
Your IP address, browser, device, the pages you visit, and security logs. Most of this is collected through cookies, described in section 6.
4. How we use it
We use your information to do the following.
- Create your account and give you access to your courses.
- Process payments, payment plans, and refunds.
- Deliver lessons, track your progress, and issue and verify certificates of completion.
- Send you the emails you need, such as your login details, receipts, class reminders, and Zoom details.
- Send news and course announcements to people who have asked for them.
- Answer your questions and give you support.
- Review scholarship applications.
- Keep the site secure and stop spam and fraud.
- Improve our courses and our website.
We do not sell your information. If you accept cookies, we also use it to measure whether our own ads lead to enrollments (see section 6).
6. Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser stores. We use them to keep you signed in, remember your cart and checkout, protect our forms from spam, process payments securely, and load fonts and files. Stripe and Cloudflare may set their own cookies to prevent fraud.
We use Google Ads conversion measurement to learn whether our ads help people find and enroll in our courses. It is optional, and it stays off until you choose Accept in our cookie banner. If you accept, Google’s tag sets cookies in your browser and records which pages you visit, including our enrollment confirmation page, so we can tell when an ad led to an enrollment. We do not use it to show you personalized ads, and we do not send Google your name or email address.
If you decline, Google’s tag is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings, which also appears as a small button at the bottom left of every page.
You can block cookies in your browser settings. If you do, you will not be able to sign in or buy a course.
7. Emails and messages
Emails about your account and your course are part of the service, and we will send them while you are enrolled. This includes your login details, receipts, class reminders, and Zoom details for enrolled students.
We send newsletters, announcements, and news of new courses only to people who have signed up or enrolled. Every such email has an unsubscribe link. If you receive updates on WhatsApp, tell us and we will stop. We do not message you on WhatsApp unless you ask us to.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. These include encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and spam and fraud protection. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. Please choose a strong password and keep it to yourself.
9. How long we keep it
We keep your account for as long as it is active and for as long as you have access to your courses, so you can return to your lessons, notes, progress, and certificates.
We keep payment and order records for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, except for records we are required to keep. Forum posts you wrote may be removed or made anonymous.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to do the following.
- See the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your personal information.
- Ask for a copy of your information in a portable format.

11. Students worldwide
Our students live in many countries. The companies listed in section 5 process information in the United States and other countries. By using our site, you understand that your information may be processed outside the country where you live. We choose providers that protect information under their own published policies.
12. Children
Our courses are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Students under 18 should have a parent or guardian’s permission before they enroll. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.
13. Other websites
Our site and courses sometimes link to other websites, including Bible study tools and resources. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new date, and we will email enrolled students about any significant change. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
